Musical theater performance is more than a pretty voice; it’s acting through a song. Students explore how to interpret and connect to the lyrics to tell the story in the song. Selection of appropriate material for auditions and performance will be stressed, along with basic vocal technique and breath control. Staged musical numbers will also be introduced. Basic reading skills required.

Registration and Cancellation Policy
Each registration form must be accompanied by a $10 non-refundable registration fee per student. This non- refundable fee covers processing and registration costs. In addition, a $50 non-refundable deposit per student per class is required to hold your spot in class.
Balance due must be paid in full by April 12, 2024. Deposits will be returned only if your requested class is not available. All classes are held at Paper Mill Playhouse or Paper Mill Studios in Millburn, NJ unless otherwise noted. Most classes begin April and run until May/June. All dates are subject to change.
