Paper Mill Playhouse offers joyful, skill-building classes for performers of all ages. With a focus on musical theatre technique—singing, acting, and movement—our weekly classes help students grow confidence, connect with others, and explore their creativity in a supportive environment.All classes are open enrollment. No audition required.

Spring Session Details

Registration: Spring registration begins on December 1, 2025.

Weekly Classes: All courses meet once per week.

Dates: The spring session runs February 23 to May 31, 2026

Location: Classes meet in person in Millburn, NJ.

Choose Your Age Group

Kids
Build your musical theatre foundation! Kids learn the basics of singing, movement, and storytelling through fun, engaging activities designed for young performers.

Teens
Level up your musical theatre technique! Teen classes help performers strengthen vocal skills, sharpen acting choices, stretch dance skills, and collaborate like an ensemble. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for pre-college programs, you’ll train in a fun, supportive environment.

Adults
It’s never too late to join the show. Our adult classes offer a welcoming space to sing, move, and explore performance technique—whether you’re rediscovering the stage, building new skills, or seeking a creative outlet. No prior experience required, just enthusiasm.

Private Voice-All Ages
Individual attention helps student singers learn breathing and vocal placement in a nurturing one-to-one environment; exercises are used to strengthen and protect the voice.
