Why do I have to buy two subscriptions when it is mostly virtual?

When the theater reopens for in person performances, we will only be able to offer seats to those with full season subscriptions. To secure your seats for in person performances, you will need to purchase one subscription per person and not per household.

I share my subscription with another party. Will we both be able to access the digital programming separately?

To access the digital content, every household in your subscription will need a login to a Paper Mill Playhouse account on the Paper Mill Playhouse website. Please contact the Box Office at BoxOffice@PaperMill.org and they will be happy to assist you in setting up logins for everyone in your party.

What about my seats?

Until there are significant medical advancements in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19, we will be seating our patrons with space between parties. Please be prepared not to have your normal subscriber seat locations this year. This way we can adhere to the most current CDC recommendations. Please do not fret; we promise we will give your normal seats back to you and try to honor any change requests the following year.

What about your change of heart policy?

That policy was created when we still thought we would be able to have a 100% in person season. As we realized that this is not possible and have had to switch to a mostly virtual season, the decision was made to have one cost for the season and not on a show by show basis. As there is no individual cost for each show, we are not able to process a refund for individual shows.

What about exchanges?

One of the reasons we will not be offering additional tickets is that we want to make sure we have the inventory for subscribers to be able to exchange their tickets once the dates of the in-person events are announced.

I really do not like digital programing. Can I sit this season out?

You certainly can and if you do, we hope subscribers will choose to donate the price of their subscription or use it to purchase your subscription for next year.  You can secure your seat for 2021–2022 now.

What exactly is Paper Mill doing for distancing?

Paper Mill is currently exploring numerous options to physically distance our theaters. We are currently in conversation with colleague theaters around the state and country about this and we will of course incorporate any specific mandates from government officials into our planning. In addition, we are implementing additional cleaning and sanitizing procedures to our front of house, theater, backstage, and office areas. As a Subscriber, you will be the first to know the exact details of this plan.

What about Parking?

With reduced capacity we expect Parking to be more convenient and safer than ever.

I have a gift card, but I only want one show? Why can’t I get one show?

We are sorry, but due to the pandemic and the restrictions we believe will still be in place, it has been decided that we will not be offering any additional tickets or tickets on a show-by-show basis to our in-person events. We want to make sure that we can accommodate all 2020-2021 season subscribers when the theater is able to produce in person events.
