Public Health Update

The health and safety of Paper Mill Playhouse audiences, performers, and staff is of the utmost importance.

UPDATED MARCH 24, 2020:

Paper Mill Playhouse is closely monitoring developments around Coronavirus (COVID-19), and we will look to the State of New Jersey Department of Health and federal agencies such as the Center for Disease Control (“CDC”) for recommendations, guidance, and direction.

Based on the New Jersey ban on public gatherings of 50 or more people for the next eight weeks issued by Governor Murphy, Paper Mill Playhouse has postponed the upcoming production of Sister Act, originally scheduled to begin on April 1. As of March 17, Sister Act will open in eight weeks and/or within the 2019–2020 season. If you currently have tickets to Sister Act, you will be reseated into a rescheduled performance and will be given the dates when they are confirmed.

The Wanderer is now a part of our brand new 2020-2021 season.  You can renew your subscription now by clicking here.  Subscribers who currently have tickets to The Wanderer will keep their seats.  Email BoxOffice@papermill.org with questions.

In addition to postponing performances, Paper Mill Playhouse has canceled all public events, classes, and gatherings for the next eight weeks.

We have also decided to cancel  this year’s annual fundraising gala, which was scheduled for Friday, May 15.  Please consider supporting the theater you know and love now by clicking here.

For current ticket holders, the full price of your ticket can be refunded with several options:

·   An on-account credit toward a future Paper Mill Playhouse performance or subscription.
·   As an acknowledged donation which you will be able to use for tax-reporting purposes.*
·   Refund issued to a gift card
·   Issued as a full refund
*Converting your ticket purchase to a donation supports Paper Mill’s future in this very uncertain and unsettling time. If you are able, please consider making a contribution in support of our not-for-profit mission to produce world-class musical theater, nurture inclusion, and provide access for all. Suspending performances pains us and causes severe financial strain to our staff and artists; your contribution means more now than ever

We ask for your patience as we work to accommodate your ticketing questions. Because we have no on-site staff, please email your contact info to us at BoxOffice@PaperMill.org, and a staff member will respond within 48 hours, or as soon as possible.

Anyone who is experiencing cold or flu symptoms, or who is not feeling well, is encouraged to stay home. Symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) are mild fever, dry cough, sore throat and malaise–the virus is not usually associated with a runny nose—though the incubation period can be as long as 14 days from infection. For your own health and safety, please click on the link below from the CDC regarding preventative measures you can take: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html

Thank you for your valued support of Paper Mill Playhouse.
