Make-A-Wish

Paper Mill Playhouse has always been a tireless community partner, building relationships with some of our area's most reputable charitable organizations. Since the early 1980's, Paper Mill has sponsored an annual event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation helping to alleviate the day-to-day trials of serious illness by hosting a fun-filled pre-performance party complete with refreshments, gifts and special guest appearances. In 2008, Make-A-Wish kids and their families attended a special sneak preview of DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, complete with an exclusive autograph and photo session with the show's stars.

In 2010 we hosted a Pirate Pizza Party in conjunction with our production of PETER PAN.  Make-A-Wish kids and their families took over the Carriage House for a pirate themed celebration which featured a photo op with one of Captain Hook’s more friendly pirates, an autograph session with the cast of PETER PAN, gift bags of pirate booty, and – of course – pizza!
