Coat Drive - Jersey Cares

 During the winter months Paper Mill serves as a collection point for Jersey Cares Annual Coat Drive. Over the past decade, Paper Mill patrons have contributed thousands of gently used winter coats to our area’s at-risk men, women, children and infants. Since its inception, Jersey Cares has collected, sorted and distributed thousands of winter coats to New Jersey residents in need through this program. Coats are then delivered by a collection site representative to a central location. Volunteers then sort the donated coats and bag them for pick-up. Agency recipients schedule their pick-up and distribute the coats to those in need.

Jersey Cares is a non-profit, community-based organization established in 1993. They provide individuals, families, and corporate and community groups with a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Jersey Cares partners with hundreds of non-profit agencies to provide service projects that range from tutoring children to painting new murals in schools. Jersey Cares is an affiliate of the Hands on Network, an innovative alliance of volunteer catalysts throughout the world.
