Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership in raising contributed revenue through foundation support, corporate sponsorship, individual giving, government grants, and special events. The Director of Development is also responsible for managing annual budgets for the Development Department, developing board capacity to raise funds and identifying and developing relations with prospective individual, foundation and corporate donors. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and generate creative ideas. Excellent organizational and staff management skills are required. The Director of Development reports directly to the Managing Director, oversees a staff of six, works in collaboration with the senior management team and the Board of Trustees. A minimum of ten years fundraising experience is required as well as a successful track record in major individual and corporate giving. Subscription CoordinatorReporting to the Ticketing Services Manager and working with lateral co-worker with the same title, the Subscription Coordinator manages all subscription operations, including but not limited to supervising and training subscription staff, processing renewal and new business and reconciling and depositing revenue. The Subscription Coordinator responds to customer inquiries and resolves customer complaints. The Subscription Coordinator assists in building the subscription season using the ticketing software and runs various financial sales reports. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervise subscription sales staff to create a dynamic sales environment and maximum efficiency. - Schedule personnel. - Troubleshoot subscription ticketing problems. - Oversee use of ticketing software. Assist in building and maintaining all price tables, events and subscription packages within ticketing system. - Perform daily sales reconciliations. - Perform various projects as requested by Ticketing Services Manager to keep subscription operations running smoothly. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent formal educational experience - Two years of ticketing management experience - Proficiency in state-of-the-art ticketing software, Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to learn related programs.
