Casting/Auditions
Paper Mill holds auditions on a show-by-show basis in New York City throughout the year. The audition notices with dates and location are posted on this website and in the usual professional publications such as Backstage and Playbill. We operate under the AEA COST Agreement (Tier 4) and hold required AEA calls accordingly. On large musicals, we are allotted a small number of Equity Membership Candidate contracts and see non-union performers at the Equity Principal Auditions and Equity Chorus Calls (time permitting), and occasionally hold “open” calls. We work with several NYC casting offices and the casting director for each individual production is listed on the audition notice with information regarding submissions. Please note that we do not accept video submissions nor do we provide housing due to our proximity to New York City where we audition and rehearse. Please direct any inquiries to Patrick Parker, Associate Artistic Director: PParker@PaperMill.org.
